Bangladesh bag second win in hockey

Bangladesh men’s hockey team got their successive win in the Asian Games when they beat Kazakhstan by 6-1 goal in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Khorshedur Rahman struck two goals while Mamunur Rahman, Rasel Mahmud, Mainul Islam and substitute Fazle Rabbi scored one goal each for Bangladesh, who beat Oman 2-1 in their previous match.
Bangladesh men’s kabaddi team suffered a blow when they lost to South Korea by 38-18 points.
In men’s basketball 3X3, Bangladesh lost to Mongolia by 17-13 points.
On a positive note in team events, Bangladesh beat India in men’s bridge by 25-13 points.
In individual events, Bangladeshi athletes continue to put disappointing performance.
In women’s 50-metre rifle three positions shooting, Bangladesh Suraiya Akter, Sharmin Shilpa both failed to qualify for the final round.
Suraiya scored 1130 points to claim 25th position out of 33 shooters while Sharmin collected 1097 points for finishing last.
