Bangladesh earned one important point to stay in the race after suffering a 0-3 defeat over Uzbekistan in the first match.

However, the young forward atoned for his previous mistakes in the 52nd minute when he placed home from the six-yard box following a back header from Tapu Barman.
After taking the lead, Bangladesh became more defensive and offered Thailand’s attackers more rooms and they utilised the opportunity properly.
Thailand returned to the game in the 80th minute when Supachai placed the ball home after Bangladesh keeper Ashraful Islam Rana failed to clear a long cross from Buran Chaiyawat.
