3.5kg gold found in Biman flight at Ctg airport

Customs officials on Wednesday seized 32 gold bars weighing around 3.5 kg from a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong city.

Airport manager Sarwar-e-Jahan said a team of customs officials found the gold bars in an abandoned bag recovered from the Biman flight came from Dubai and was flying to Dhaka via Chittagong around 11:00am.

However, none was arrested in this connection.
