The online application process for the first year honours courses admission tests of Islamic University in Kushtia under 2018-19 sessions would begin on September 10 and continue till October 10.
M Ataul Haq, acting director of the university’s Information, Publication and Public Relation Office, confirmed it on Wednesday.
The decision came from an emergency meeting of the university central admission tests committee.
The university vice-chancellor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari chaired the meeting.
Among others, the university’s pro-vice-chancellor M Shahinoor Rahman, treasurer M Selim Toha, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, proctor M Mahbubar Rahman, deans of faculties, and heads of departments, participated in the meeting.
According to the decision of IU central admission tests committee, the university authorities would take the intake test introducing written exam beside taking MCQ from this year.
The intake tests would be held in November 4 to 7, Ataul Huq said, adding that more information about the test would be available on the university website at <www.iu.ac.bd>.
