The outgoing US ambassador Marcia Bernicat has reiterated her country’s stance on Bangladesh political situation saying that the US embassy has been doing its job as development partner of Bangladesh.

She said, ‘Otherwise, we wouldn’t have aid programme, we wouldn’t have counter terrorism programme and we would not have cultural exchanges.’
