Mixed album glorifying Mujib, his family launched

A mixed album glorifying founding president of the country Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members was launched at Music and Dance Centre of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Wednesday.
The album, titled ‘Bozrokonther Shreshtho Nayok’, was launched under the banner of Agniveena. The album contains ten songs sung by six singers.
Apu Sarker has sung Tader kew nai apon, and Sheikh Mujib ekti nam, Priyanka Gope has sung Bangobondhu ke jano and Swadinota tumi, Priyanka Bishwas has sung Ponero August er bedona and Ekjon e sudhu, Abu Bakar Siddiq has sung Tomra ghatok and Joy Bangla, Bondona Chakrabarti has sung Bongo Mata and Yousuf Ahmed Khan has rendered the song Shono notun projonmo in the album.
All the songs of the album have been written by Asma Togor. Sujoy Sham is the music director of the album.
The album launching ceremony also featured a cultural show. Apu Sarker and Bondona Chakrabarti entertained the audience singing songs from the album.
