Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed deep sorrow at the death of five people and wounding of many others in a terror attack in Chicago, USA.
In a condolence message sent to US president Donald Trump, the prime minister said she on behalf of the people of Bangladesh and herself expressed profound shock to the people of the USA and the family members of the victims.
‘At this moment of sorrow, we’re expressing our solidarity with the US people, and hope that this type of incident will not happen in the future,’ Sheikh Hasina said.
She expressed sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
