Members of Rapid Action Battalion arrested a man along with 15,000 Yaba tablets from the rented house of a sub-inspector of police at Paschim Bakalia in Chittagong city early Tuesday.

The arrestee was identified as Nazim Uddin Millat, 30.

Based on secret information, a RAB team raided the house of sub-inspector Khandaker Saifuddin of Bakalia police station around 12:30am and recovered the Yaba tablets, said Mimtanur Rahman, senior assistant director of RAB-7.

Later, they arrested Millat in this connection.

However, Saifuddin was not present at his house during the raid. He rented the house in Hafeznagar for Yaba trading, said the RAB official.
