Decomposed bodies of 2 women, infant recovered in Sylhet

Decomposed bodies of two women and one infant were recovered from a house in Sylhet on Monday.
Locals said they informed police after they felt that rotten stink was spreading from a locked house at block D of Jhalopara of Dakkhin Surma in the city.
Police recovered the decomposed bodies from a bathroom of the house at Mostafa Miah’s colony of Jhalopara after breaking open the door of the house.
Dakkhin Surma police officer-in-charge Khayrul Fazal confirmed New Age of the news of recovering three bodies and said the bodies were sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
‘Caretaker of the colony, Ershad Ali, was picked up to interrogate him in this regard,’ the police officer said, adding that the victim might have been murdered in a planned way.
