Tagore songs, poems on monsoon presented

Artistes entertained the audience presenting Nobel laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore’s songs and poems glorifying the monsoon season at Music and Dance Centre Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Saturday.
Artistes presented group and solo performances at the show. The programme titled ‘Roser Dhara Borose’ was organised by Bangladesh Sangeet Sangathan Samannay Parishad.
Up and coming singer Sumaiya Parvin presented the songs Aj sraboner voro boroshai and Aj ei bhora badoler kole, Nasrin Akther sang Chitto amar haralo and Pub hawate dey dola, Tasmita Mahmud Mim sang Aji tomai chai re and Sagor gogone ghon ghor ghota and Rifat Jaman Mita sang amar shunno nogore.
Recitation artiste Joyonto Bhattacharaya recited poems like O pujar bedi, Aji hote shoto borso pore and others at the programme.
