The Anti-Corruption Commission on Sunday conducted a surprise visit to Civil Aviation Authority office as part of its ongoing drive in public offices aimed at ensuring hassle-free government services to people.
An ACC team conducted the drive in the civil aviation office for the second time to know what measure is taken to check irregularities and corruption there.
On February 22 last, the national anti-graft agency conducted a sudden drive to the office after receiving an allegation of irregularities over its hotline – 106.
The commission then gave the Civil Aviation Authority some suggestions and directives to check graft.
The Civil Aviation Authority informed the ACC team that all the purchases of the agency were completed through e-tendering.
It also informed the ACC officials that they have already disposed of 2,361 audit objections out of 3,567.
