Rockaphobic launched its debut album Srot by organising a concert on Friday at Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Dhanmondi.

The album features nine songs, which are titled as ‘Amantran’, ‘Srot’, ‘Alo’, ‘Angikar’, ‘Nesha’, ‘Neel’, ‘Abhinoy’, ‘Kritodas Noi’ and ‘Utsaber Raat’.

All the songs have been written and produced by Rockaphobic from April 2014 to December 2017.

As the album was already released through the music app GAAN on July 5, a good number of music lovers had already listened to it.

Rock bands like Karnival, Owned, Conclusion, Naive, S!N, Pin Code and Liquid State Drive also  performed along with Rockaphobic at the concert.

Rockaphobic is a Dhaka-based rock band with Baktiar Sakib on Vocals and Guitars, Tahmid Ishmam on Drums, Arafat Quraishy on Bass and Ashiqul Alam Ashiq on Guitars. The band has released 6 singles and 1 EP before the album.

The band’s next plans are to do more live shows and hopefully make a few music videos of songs from their album.
