Results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate and its equivalent examinations will be published today.
Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over the results to prime minister Sheikh Hasina in the morning.
Later, the minister would formally announce the results at 1:00pm at a press briefing at his secretariat office, education ministry senior information officer Afrazur Rahman said.
After the briefing the results will be published simultaneously from respective centre or college and online at 1:30pm.
Institution-based result sheet has to be downloaded through entry of EIIN of respective educational institution from www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd.
Students can also collect their results from www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, result corner of www.educationboard.gov.bd and website of respective education board.
This year, about 13.11 lakh examinees took the HSC and its equivalent tests from 8,943 educational institutions.
Of them, 10.92 lakh took HSC exams under eight general education boards, 1 lakh appeared for Alim exams under madrassah education board and 1.17 lakh sat for HSC vocational exams under technical education board.
Theoretical exams were held from April 2 to May 13 while practical exam took place between May 14 and 23.
