Artistes recited poems penned by poet Abu Zafar Khan at a programme held at Bangladesh National Museum on Friday.
Artistes recited poems on diverse issues like love, human relationship, solitude, self-realisation and social reality at the show.
Recitation organisation Bangladesh Kabita Mancha organised the programme, which also featured a book launching ceremony. Abu Zafar Khan’s sixth poetry book titled ‘Sonali Dhanphul’ was launched at the programme.
Renowned recitation artiste Bhaswar Banerjee recited a number of Zafar’s poems like Ekti Premer Kobita, Bishad Bati, Mondar Shuchi O Dui Akti Sada Megh, Amar Baba and Zadu Dour at the show.
Artistes of Sorokolpon Abritti Chocro recited a number of Zafar’s poems like Sonali Dhanful, Ekti Jiggasha Chinher Moddho Die and others.
Abu Zafar Khan recited poems from his new poetry book Sonali Dhanphul at the show.
Poet Nirmalendu Goon was present as the chief guest and poet Bimal Guha, recitation artiste Bhaswar Banerjee and Bangladesh Kabita Mancha’s president Faruk Mahmud were present as special guests at the programme.
