The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday appointed South African Ryan Cook as their new national team fielding consultant until the World Cup 2019 in England and Wales.
Ryan, who is currently working as the head coach and High Performance director of Gary Kirsten Cricket Academy in Cape Town in recent time, will join the Bangladesh Team in Jamaica on Friday.
Ryan is also the assistant coach of Hobart Hurricanes in Australia’s Big Bash League and the Protea also served South Africa A Team as their assistant coach.
Cook was the assistant coach of the South Africa Under- 19 Team in the ICC Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh in 2016.
Bangladeshi local coach Sohel Islam is currently working as the fielding coach of the national team who replaced Richard Halsall after the Zimbabwe-born Englishman resigned in March showing his personal causes.
