Detectives in a drive arrested two members of banned extremist outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh along with arms from Adamdighi upazila in Bogra early Sunday.
The arrestees were identified as Rubel Hossain, 27, and Abdul Bari, 25, of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj.
Tipped-off, a team of detectives conducted a drive in the area and arrested two members of the banned outfit from Pouta Primary School area, said Sanatan Chakrawarty, additional superintendent of Bogra police and in-charge of district police (media).
They also recovered two firearms and 12 rounds of bullets from their possession, he added.
