Foreign minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali on Monday said that they were continuing their correspondence with the United Kingdom’s foreign ministry to bring Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman back from London.
The matter was under the process. Several letters had already been given sent and they (British Home Office) have responded to our letters.
The minister made the remarks while inaugurating various developmental activities in Dinajpur as the chief guest.
He urged the people to vote for the boat symbol in the upcoming national election and to help the ongoing development of the country as the Sheikh Hasina’s government was working for the country and its people like the nation’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Dinajpur district project implementation officer Mokhlesur Rahman, general manager of Dinajpur Rural Electrification Association Harindra Nath Barman, president of Awami League Ayubur Rahman Shah and many others were present at the programme.
