Bangladesh Nationalist Party would submit memorandum to deputy commissioners in all districts across Bangladesh for release of the jailed party chairperson Khaleda Zia before the Eid ul-Fitr and her better treatment.
BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programme at a news briefing at the party's central office on Monday.
BNP staged demonstration across the country on Sunday for Khaleda's proper treatment.
Rizvi said Khaleda is reluctant to get treatment at 'PG' hospital as she did not feel treatment safe there.
He demanded to immediate arrangements for Khaleda's treatment at United Hospital in Dhaka as per her choice.
Rizvi said the government is conspiring to eliminate Khaleda from the world and it reflected through its negligence to her treatment.
He said the government’s attempt to forcibly take Khaleda to the 'PG' hospital is 'ill-motivated'.
