Prime minister Sheikh Hasina, who arrived in Canada to attend the Outreach Programme of the G7 Summit, joined a dinner hosted by governor general of Canada for G7 guests on Friday evening.
Governor general Julie Payette hosted the dinner in honour of the heads of government and international organisations participating in the outreach session of the G7 Summit at La Citadelle Quebec.
PM's press secretary Ihsanul Karim said that the prime minister exchanged pleasantries with president of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa, prime minister of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc, president of Haiti and chair of the Caribbean community Jovenel Moise and other dignitaries who attended the dinner.
Foreign minister AH Mahmood Ali accompanied prime minister Sheikh Hasina at the programme.
