Young singers of the country have released around 15 songs glorifying the holy Ramadan.
These songs, released on different YouTube channels, encourage music lovers to follow the teachings of Islam and live an ideal life. The lyrics of the songs address everything from religious tolerance, prayers to charity and others.
A number of the songs have received good response from music lovers.
The video of the chorus song Ramjaner oi deepto alo, penned by Shahnur Shaheen, which has been uploaded on the YouTube channel of Holy Tune has crossed 5,86,000 views.
The video of the song encourages Muslims to take the teachings of Ramadan to heart. Sayed Bin Shafiq, Ataullah Fayezi, HM Habib and Rakibul Islam Rafi have lent their voices to the song.
‘I have tried to promote the teachings of Ramadan in society through the song. I want to thank the music lovers for supporting us,’ Shahnur Shaheen told New Age.
The song Khushir chand, penned by Alauddin Ador, uploaded on the YouTube channel of Studio Protunebd has been viewed more than 56,000 times.
Abid Azam has sung the song, which has been composed by Habib Mustafa. The song welcomes the month of Ramadan and encourages all to thank Allah for his blessings.
‘We wish to promote the teachings of the holy month to people from all walks of life through the song,’ said Alauddin Ador.
Another song Banka chand, a duet rendered by Daud Anam and Abir Mahmud, has been viewed over 50,000 times on YouTube.
The song praises the holy month of Ramadan and urges Muslims to seek forgiveness from Allah.
Besides, songs like Mahe ramjaner phul phuteche by Sohail Masud, Phul phutate ei dhorate by Moshiour Rahman, Tasbihat by Amir Hamza, Rahmate barkae bhora by Sammilito Sangskritik Sangshad and others have received good response from music lovers.
