Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation is going to start selling advance tickets from Tuesday for different inter-district routes ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Under its Eid service, BRTC will run 904 buses across the country from June 13.
Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader revealed this information to reporters at a press conference at BRTC head office on Monday.
The tickets will be available at different counters of BRTC in the city.
A total of 475 buses will start from BRTC’s Dhaka, Gazipur and Narayanganj depots to different routes during Eid.
The rest will start from other district depots.
Around 50 buses will be kept at capital’s bus terminals to facilitate passengers.
