Popular small screen pair of yesteryears Afzal Hossain and Subarna Mustafa will be seen together in two single episode teleplays this Eid-ul-Fitr.
The actors have acted in Akkhar Theke Uthe Asa Manush and Nurul Alamer Biye, which will be aired respectively on Channel i and ATN Bangla as part of Eid special programmes.
Both of the teleplays have been written by Subarna’s husband Badrul Anam Saud, also director of Akkhar Theke Uthe Asa Manush. Nurul Alamer Biye has been directed by Arif Khan.
Subarna plays the role of a writer and Afzal Hossain plays the role of a fictitious character created by Subarna in Akkhar Theke Uthe Asa Manush.
Nurul Alamer Biye, on the other hand, is a comedy where Afzal Hossain plays the role of an aged widower and Subarna Mustafa plays the role of a matchmaker. They eventually fall for each other.
‘The teleplays feature atypical stories. Saud and Arif always try to do something different. I hope viewers will find the teleplays entertaining’, said Afzal Hossain.
