Prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday termed the process of pushing force by Israel upon Palestine as violation of human rights.
She also condemned the relocation of US embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
The prime minister said this when Turkish prime minister Binali Yildirim phoned her in the evening to
invite her to attend the special summit of the OIC on Palestine issue on May 18.
Binali Yildirim called Sheikh Hasina around 7:30pm and they talked for over 15 minutes, said PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim.
He said that the Turkish prime minister informed his Bangladeshi counterpart that the OIC had called a special summit on the recent Palestinian issue on May 18.
Praising the initiative as a time-befitting one, Hasina urged the Muslim Ummah to remain united.
She also reiterated Bangladesh’s stance for an independent Palestine state.
