Law enforcers on Monday arrested five people including three teachers in Barisal, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, Gaibandha and Gazipur for their suspected bid to leak question of Higher Secondary Certificate examination.
Uzirpur police officer-in-charge Shishir Kumar Pal said that they arrested three college teachers for their alleged involvement in leaking question and distributing them through mobile phones, reports New Age correspondent in Barisal.
The arrested are Ramerkathi Business Management and Commerce college teachers Paresh Beapri and Samiran Biswas and Shaheed Saranika Degree College teacher Abul Kashem.
He also said that the teachers were caught just after beginning of the exam from Poresh’s house, when they were solving the questions of finance and banking and business entrepreneurship.
Rapid Action Battalion in Rajshahi arrested a youth identified as Roni Sarkar, 20, of Charghat on charge of selling question through Facebook, said RAB-5 sector commander Nur E Alam.
RAB-1, meanwhile, arrested another youth on the same allegation at Tongi in Gazipur.
The arrested was identified as Milon, 19, of Sripur of the district, said RAB 1 company commander Kamal Uddin.
Meanwhile three others were arrested by RAB in Chapainawabganj, Naogaon and Gaibandha, said officials.
