US-Bangla to begin flights to China

Private airlines US-Bangla Airlines is set to spread its wings to China as first ever any Bangladesh carrier to explore Chinese air from April 26.
The airlines will operate flights from Dhaka to Guangzhou, China, one of the most important cities of the eastern region, as its eighth international designation, a press release said.
Initially, three flights will be operated by 164-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Dhaka to Guangzhou on every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday and return from Guangzhou to Dhaka on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, it said.
The minimum one-way fare has been set at Tk 30,408 and return fare Tk 39,442 in Dhaka-Guangzhou route.
Currently, US-Bangla Airlines is operating international flights to Muscat, Doha, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Kolkata and domestic flights to all seven domestic destinations.
The airlines has the plan to operate flights to more international destinations including Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi soon.
Currently, US-Bangla Airlines owns seven aircraft - four Boeing 737-800 and three Dash8- Q400 in its fleet while another three Boeing 737-800 and three DASH8-Q400 aircraft will be added within this year.
