Int’l magic convention from April 26

A three-day Bangladesh International Magic Convention featuring magic shows by local and foreign magicians will begin from April 26 simultaneously at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and Bangladesh National Museum.
Over 200 magicians from 14 countries will participate in the council organised by Bangladesh Magicians’ Council. The convention will feature magic shows, seminar and workshop on magic and magic competition.
The seminar and workshop will be held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, while the magic shows will be held at the main auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum.
‘This will be the first ever international magic convention organised in the country. The event will feature entertaining magic shows, seminar and workshop on magic and others’, said Safir Ullah Shikder, president of Bangladesh Magicians’ Council, at a press conference held at the conference lounge of National Press Club on Thursday.
The press conference was also attended by the convention convener Maniruzzaman Liton, renowned magicians Mainul Khan, Ali Raz and others.
Magicians from India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Italy, France, Canada, USA, Singapore, Korea and Bangladesh will participate in the convention.
‘People of all ages like magic shows. The convention will give local magicians the opportunity to perform alongside foreign magicians,’ said Maniruzzaman Liton, convener of the convention.
