Tajuddin Ahmad and Syeda Zohra Tajuddin Memorial Foundation on Saturday congratulated Turaj Ahmad, grandson of the country’s founding prime minister Tajuddin Ahmad and Syeda Zohra Tajuddin, for obtaining barrister-at-law degree.
Turaj is son of former state minister for home affairs Tanjim Ahmad.
On March 8, Turaj was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln’s Inn, having completed the professional training course at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, said a release.
Foundation chairperson Simeen Hussain Rimi, also lawmaker from Gazipur-4 constituency and paternal aunt of Turaj, congratulated him on behalf of Tajuddin Ahmad family members.
Simeen wished Turaj would conduct his professional duties imbued by patriotism and serve for the welfare of the nation and humanity as a whole, the release said.
Turaj’s mother Konka Karim is the feature editor of New Age. His maternal grandfather Jawadul Karim had served as press secretary to prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
