Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation is going to introduce three services in the capital celebrating Bangladesh’s graduation from the group of least developed countries.
The new services would be available at Sadarghat, Uttara and Khilkhet, said officials.
Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader is scheduled to inaugurate BRTC Usha Service, BRTC Uttara Circular Service and BRTC Office Passenger Service in front of Rajdhani High School today morning.
Under the BRTC Usha Service, three Chinese single decker buses would start from Sadarghat launch terminal at 5:00am every day to carry passengers to Tongi, Gabtoli or other destination as demanded by passengers, said BRTC deputy general manager (operation) Almas Ali.
Four minibuses would start from Uttara third phase to different sectors, he said.
To facilitate office-going people, three double decker buses would start at 7:00am daily from Khilkhet to go to Motijheel via Mokhali, he added.
