A singer renders a song at Bangladesh National Museum on Wednesday.

Artistes of music organisation Gaaner Kheya entertained the audience presenting Nazrul Sangeet, modern songs and recitation on Wednesday at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum.
The organisation also honoured Ekushey Padak-winning seasoned music director-composer Sujeyo Shyam at the show.
Journalist and litterateur Rahat Khan was present as chief guest at the programme, while artiste of defunct Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra Bulbul Mahalanabish and Indian novelist Ullas Chattopadhyay were present as special guests at the programme.
Gaaner Kheya artistes began the programme singing patriotic song Bijoy enechi oi.
Swapan Kumar Das rendered popular Nazrul song Boriya poran shunitechi gaan and modern song Ami jamini tumi sashi.
Moslema Akter Mirza rendered two Nazrul songs, while Rafiqul Islam Swapan presented two modern songs.
Selina Afroz, Happy Das, Dwipti Chowdhury and Aparna Khan respectively rendered Eki sonar aloi, Tumi kebol boste dio pashe, Tor apon jone charbe tore and Aha aji ei boshonte to the delight of the audience.
Besides, Parvez Chowdhury recited poems at the show.
