Tagore singer Rabeya Akter entertained the audience singing of Tagore songs of diverse genres at a solo show held at Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum on Tuesday.
Titled ‘Nana Ranger Rabi’, the programme was organised by Ashabari Sangeet Academy. Rabeya Akter presented Tagore’s devotional, nature and romantic songs at the programme.
The singer commenced the programme singing Tagore’s devotional song Amar matha noto kore dao. She also sang songs like Majhe majhe tobo dekha pai, Amar ja ache, Amar mukti alloy alloy and Ami jene shune tobu vule achhi.
The singer presented songs like Amar mallika boney, O Amar chander alo, Phagun haway haway and others, which Tagore wrote glorifying nature.
Rabeya Akter ended the show singing a few love songs like Amar poran jaha chay, Bhalobese jadi such nahi, Tumi sondhyar meghmala, Rangiye diye jao and others.
Rabeya Akter has released two Tagore albums namely Rangiye Diye Jao and O Bandhu Amar till date.
