People don’t want to see BNP in power: Quader

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader on Wednesday said that the people will not cast their votes for the patronisers of communal, extremist forces in next general election as they do not want see them in office.

While addressing at a rally of Tangail district unit Awami League at Shaheed Smriti Poura Udyan in the town, Quader, also the road transport and bridges minister, said that it was already proved that the BNP is the partoniser of communal and extremist forces and also backs the war criminals.

So, the people will not vote in favour of BNP and they will not be able to come in power, he said.

‘The people will vote for the candidates of the Awami League for continuation of the development works across the country,’ Quader added.

Chaired by president of the Tangail district AL, Fazlur Rahman Faroque, the rally was addressed, among others by presidium member of the party Mohammad Abdur Razzaque, joint general secretary Dipu Moni, central leader Shamsunnahar Champa and district unit general secretary Joaherul Islam.

The members of the parliaments of the party and upzila and union leaders of the party attended the programme.
