The US-Bangla Airlines has suspended its flights on Dhaka-Kathmandu route for indefinite period because of shortage of aircrafts.
Kamrul Islam, general manager of the airlines, told New Age, ‘We have suspended operation of flights on the route for shortage of aircrafts. The suspension will continue till further notice.’
The suspension followed after the company lost a Bombardier Dash 8 plane that was crashed in Kathmandu on Monday leaving 51 out of 71 passengers and crew dead.
