Traditional songs presented at Nat’l Museum

Artistes of music troupe Gaaner Dol Praner Dol entertained the audience singing traditional songs at a programme held at Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum on Sunday.
The troupe celebrated its 9th founding anniversary through the programme, which featured awards ceremony, recitation and cultural show.
Artistes of Gaaner Dol Praner Dol commenced the cultural show with group rendition of Tagore song Maya bono biharini. The artistes next rendered Kazi Nazrul Islam’s popular patriotic song Eki oprup rupe ma.
Besides, artistes of the troupe like Mohammad Ali Morshed, Monirul Islam, Kaniz Fatema Tilti, Biman Chandra Bishwash, Selima Osman Sharmi, Anhar Chowdhury and Shahin respectively rendered Ke zeno aj amar chokhe, Otiter kothagulo, Pakhi re tui dure thakle, Tomay hrid majhare rakhibo, Keno amay bedhe rakhi, Bashi shune ar kaj nai and Ami tomake bole debo to the delight of the audience.
A full-hall audience enjoyed the programme.
