French ambassador to Bangladesh Marie-Annick BOURDIN has urged businessmen to build a strong image of Chittagong to attract more investment in the port city.
She made the suggestion at a views exchange meeting held at the Bangabandhu Conference Hall of World Trade Centre Chittagong on Wednesday, said a press release issued by the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Business leaders in Chittagong were present in the meeting.
The comparatively clean and friendly city, Chittagong, has an old relation with France, BOURDIN said.
As everything is capital centred, Chittagong is not getting proper importance, she said.

He also sought more French investment in the economic zones of Bangladesh.

CCCI directors AKM Akhter Hossain, Johirul Islam Chowdhury, Md Ohid Siraj Chowdhury and Anjan Sekhor Das were also present, among others, in the meeting.
