Bangladesh Islamic Foundation board of governors’ member Moulana Mohammad Jalaluddin Al Qadri died at hospital in Dhaka Saturday night.
Jalaluddin, also the khatib of Jamiatul Al Fala Masjid in Chittagong, fell sick while taking part at an Islamic conference at BMA Auditorium in Dhaka and he died at BIRDEM Hospital, said Moshaheb Uddin Bakhtiar, joint secretary general of Gausia Committee of Bangladesh.
Jalauddin, also former principal of Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Alia Madrassah, was 70 and suffering from diabetes and others old age complications, Moshaheb said, adding that his family would decide the burial.
