Little Theatre Sylhet staged the play Bhaibe Radharaman at Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium at Rikabibazar in Sylhet on Saturday evening.
The play was staged on the tenth day of the ongoing 12-day theatre festival organised by Sammilita Natya Parishad Sylhet marking the International Mother Language Day.
The play, written and directed by Tanvir Nahid Khan, depicted the life and works of Sylhet-based dhamail music composer and lyricist Radharaman Datta.
The play depicts many fascinating facts about Radharaman Datta, who wrote and composed over 3,000 songs in the Baul tradition during his lifetime.
Rajnarayan Chowdhury Chayan, Devajyoti Debu, Uttara Sen Pampa, Kutub Uddin, Shampa Chakrabarti, Rubel Ahmad Khuasha, Fahmida Mahmud, Ananya Dashgupta, Nayan Sarker, Uttam Kabya, Sazzad Hasaine, Rajib Rasel, Sajib Chowdhury Sowmit, Ujjal Roy and others acted in the play.
The festival will end on March 5.
