Dhaka Half Marathon 2018 held

Dhaka Half Marathon 2018, an athletic competition, was held at Hatirjheel on Friday to highlight Bangladesh on the global platform.
Dhaka Run Lords and Thousand Miles Expedition jointly organised the event consisted of two categories — men’s and women’s half marathon (21.1km) and men’s and women’s mini-marathon (7km).
A total of 620 athletes, including 37 foreigners from seven countries, took part in the two events with Abdur Rahim winning the men’s half marathon event beating Mahbubur Rahman and Mahfuzul Haq.
In the half marathon women’s category, Seuty Sabur became first while Sifat Fahmida Eti and Anjuman Ara Asha became second and third respectively.
In the men’s mini-marathon, Shariful Islam managed the first place while Clara di Girolamo and Mohammad Roman Siddik became second and third respectively.
Later, Clara became first in the women’s mini marathon beating Mousumi Akter and Sevgi Falfoul.
