A cultural show featuring songs and poems glorifying spring was held at the main auditorium of Chhayanaut in Dhanmondi on Wednesday.
Promising singer Shwapnil Shojib presented songs and Indian recitation artiste Sovansundar Bosu recited poems glorifying spring at the programme titled ‘Love of Spring’.
Shwapnil Shojib entertained the audience singing popular folk songs like Nishhite zaiyo phoolo bone, Shuya chan pakhi,
Bandhu bine pran bache. He also sang Tagore songs like Majhe majhe tobo dekha pai and others at the show.
Shovansundar Bosu recited poems of poets like Srijato, Kabir Suman Satyendranath Dutta and others.
Besides, dance artistes Abu Nayeem and Swapnil Tajrian staged two dance recitals synchronised with songs glorifying spring at the show.
Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre organised the programme.
