LankaBangla Securities Ltd in association with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority on Wednesday launched the Bangladesh Investment Guide 2018.
The guide was launched at a programme at the BIDA office in Dhaka with the aim of spreading updated knowledge about the investment outlook in Bangladesh among the interested retail and institutional foreign investors.
BIDA executive chairman Kazi M Aminul Islam and LankaBangla Capital Market Operations managing director Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury were present, among others, on the occasion.
Briefing on the guide, Nasir said that the third edition of Bangladesh Investment Guide had been made very much different from the previous versions in terms of content and analysis.
The first edition of the guide was launched in 2016.
In the previous editions, most of the data centred on the capital market, Nasir said.
The area of analyses and contents, however, in this year has been widened and the guide has included broader economic perspectives, he said.
BIDA executive member Nabhash Chandra Mandal and LankaBangla Securities chief executive officer Khandoker Saffat Reza also spoke at the event.
