20 romantic teleplays to be aired

The state-run BTV and several other private TV channels will air 20 romantic teleplays in two days, beginning from Tuesday, marking Pahela Phalgun and Valentine’s Day.
These single-episode teleplays have been made commissioning the leading playwrights, directors and actors, TV channel sources said adding that many special musical programmes, short films and old romantic Bangla films are on schedule for the-two celebrations programme.
NTV has been airing six teleplays in a row since February 10 at 9:20pm every day under the common title Bhalobashar Fresh Golpo. These teleplays titled Bus Stop, Nirbason, Amay Khujona, Hotath Tumi, Zokhon Boshonto, Ki Shorgo directed respectively by Shihab Shaheen, Animesh Aych, Nurul Alam Atique, Golam Soharab Dodul, Tanim Rahman Aungshu and Krishnendu Chattopadhyay were filmed at different locations of Dhaka and
Kolkata.
‘Zokhon Boshonto’ directed by Tanim Rahman Aungshu featuring Afran Nisho and Sharlin Farjana at 9:20pm today and ‘Nirbason’ directed by Animesh Aych featuring Riaz and Vabna will be aired at the same time tomorrow.
A similar programme has been taken by Bangla Vision that will air three teleplays styled ‘Sohore Notun Gaan, ‘Tobuo Valobashi’, ‘Ami Tomar Golpo Hobo’ under a common title ‘Close-Up Kache Ashar Golpo’ at 11.25pm tonight. The stories of the teleplays were selected from a competition. The channel will also air ‘Tumi Chhara Life Impossible’, written and directed by Rasheda Shazzad Lajuk, starring Shahiduzzaman Selim and Saberi Alam, will be aired on 8.45pm today.
Written and directed by Rubel Hasan, teleplay ‘Beloved’, featuring Oindrila and Apurbo, will be aired on GTV at 8.45pm today.
ETV will telecast ‘Dupur Akashe Rongdhonu’ directed by BU Shuvo at 10pm tonight featuring film actress Poppy and Apurbo in the lead roles.
Written by Masum Shahrier and directed by Himel Ashraf, ‘Tumi Chuye Dilei’ starring Apurba and Snigdha will be aired on Channel 9 at 8pm tonight while ‘Science-er Meye Arts-er Chele’, written and directed by Syed Zia Uddin and Habib Shakil respectively and featuring Afran Nisho and Mehazabien in lead characters, will be aired at 11pm on Channel 9.
Written and directed respectively by Shezan Nur and BU Shuvo, ‘Tukro Premer Taan’, starring Apurba and Mehazabien will be aired on at 9pm tonight on ATN Bangla. Channel-i will air ‘A Symbiotic Love’, directed by Azizul Hakim and written Zeenat Hakim, starring Mir Sabbir and Sohana Saba, on at 3:00pm today while Channel 9 will air ‘Tomar Amar Prem’ starring Siam and Agnila on Channel 9 at 11pm today.
Rtv has produced five-minute length 10 short films, directed by Ashfaque Nipun and Shihab Shaheen. Five of these short films were aired on the TV channel on Tuesday marking Pahela Phalgun while the remaining others will be aired 7:00pm today marking Valentine’s Day.
Ashfaque Nipun’s another teleplay ‘Laila Tumi Amake Miss Koro’, a modern adaptation to Laily Majnu, will be aired today at 7.50pm. Apart from these, ‘Ekti Moddhobitto Fridger Golpo’, directed by Sagar Jahan starring Tahsan, Tisha will be aired on today at 08.45pm.
Maasranga Television will air ‘Phirbe Bhabini’ starring Momo, Apurba and Nayeem on tomorrow at 7.30pm.
