1 Abdur Razzak’s 4-63 in the first innings against Sri Lanka is the career best bowling figure of the left-arm spinner in a Test innings. His previous best bowling figure in an innings was 3-93, which he claimed against New Zealand in Chittagong in 2008.

6 Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim became sixth Bangladeshi cricketer to take three or more catches as a fielder in a Test innings when took the catch of Danushka Gunathilaka, Akila Dananjaya, and Rangana Hearth on Thursday. Soumya Sarkar held the record of taking most number of catches as a fielder when he took four catches against Sri Lanka in Colombo Test last year. Al Shahriar, Aminul Islam, Rajin Saleh and Mahmudullah also claimed three catches in a Test innings.

 7 With the wicket of Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal Sri Lankan pacer Suranga Lakmal became the seventh Sri Lankan bowler to take 100 wickets in Test cricket.

100 Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman clinched his 100th wicket in all formats of the game when he dismissed Sri Lankan batsman Akila Dhananjaya in the first innings. Mustafiz, who finished with 2-17 against Sri Lanka in the first innings, has now 23 Test wickets, 51 ODI wickets and 27 Twenty20 wickets since he made his international debut in 2015.

222 Sri Lanka’s 222 in the first innings on Thursday is their lowest innings total against Bangladesh. In 2008 they were bowled out for 293 runs in the first innings of Dhaka Test which was their previous lowest total against the Tigers.
