The Security Force of India picked up a Bangladeshi national from Rotnai border area in Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon early Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Abdul Barek, 25, son of Abdul Majid, resident of village Rotnai Moradhar and a cattle trader.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Hossain, commanding officer of BGB-30 battalion, said that a BSF patrol team caught Barek when a group of Bangladesh cattle traders entered into the Indian border through Kotpara border in Rotnai BOP camp.
The BGB had sent a letter for holding a flag meeting in this regard, said the official.
