Mustafa Mamun and Sudipta Ananda have been elected respectively as the president and general secretary of the Bangladesh Sports Press Association.
Deputy editor of Daily Kaler Kontho, Mamun and New Age staff correspondent Ananda were elected unopposed during a biennial general meeting held at the Bangladesh Olympic Association House on Saturday.
Though all the other members of the committee were elected unopposed, the elections for the two vice-president posts were held where Porag Arman (128 votes) and Sheikh Saifur Rahman (106 votes) won.
