International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) president Alin Tasciyan called on film critics to strengthen network and cooperation on different levels and occasions for helping each other to overcome the difficulties.
Alin made the statement after her participation in 1st Asian Film Critics Assembly held on Monday at Best Western Hotel Dhaka where critics from 12 Asian countries, including, Armenia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Iran, India, Japan, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan and Turkey presented country reports on film criticism.
The assembly was jointly organised by International Film Critics Association of Bangladesh and FIPRESCI as an ancillary event of the 16th Dhaka International Film Festival.
Critics at the assembly shared their professional experiences and also hoped for moving forward by overcoming the odds.
