DU student dies of cardiac arrest

A student of Dhaka University died from a cardiac arrest at the Hazi Muhammad Muhsin Hall of the university early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Arifur Rahman Rased, a student of peace and conflict studies department of academic session 2009-10, and resident of Nangalkot upazila of Comilla.
According to his roommates, Rased suddenly fell sick and complained of severe chest pain around 4:00am. When fellow students took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, on-duty doctors declared him dead.
Hall provost Nijamul Huq Bhuiyan said that Rashed’s body had been taken to his village home for the final ritual.
