Bangladesh pacer Al-Amin Hossain on Thursday was cleared from suspect bowling action after he passed the bowling test, officials said.
The 28-year old pacer appeared in the bowling test on Sunday after was reported for a suspect bowling action during a Bangladesh Premier League match on November 28.
Chairman of BCB’s bowling action review committee Jalal Yunus said Al-Amim has no bar on playing in domestic leagues as his action was found legal.
‘He bowled less than 15 degree bowling angle. So it appeared to us that he improved a lot. He can play in the upcoming league as well as in the Premier League,’ Jalal told reporters.
‘He had problem with one or two specific deliveries which he had acknowledged earlier. I think he has overcome the problems and he will not have to face these problems in future,’ he added.
This was the second time Al-Amin had been reported for suspecting action and he was cleared on both occasions.
