Leaders of the newly announced political alliance, Jukta Front, met in Dhaka to discuss the declaration of the alliance.
Four political parties — Bikalpadhara Bangladesh, a faction of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, Krishok Sramik Jatata League and Nagarik Oikya, on December 4 announced the new political combine.
The meeting, held at KC Memorial Clinic at Baridhara, was attended, among others, by Bikalpadhara president AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, JSD faction president ASM Abdur Rob, Krishak Sramik Janata League president Abdul Kader Siddique and Bikalpadhara general secretary Abdul Mannan.
Following the meeting, JSD general secretary Abdul Malek Ratan told New Age that they had discussed some initial matters concerning the declaration of the alliance.
The declaration would be finalised in future meetings, he added.
