Police picked up several people after Bangladesh Nationalist Party activists clashed with police near the High Court Wednesday.

Witnesses said the BNP men gathered in front of the High Court when BNP chief Khaleda Zia was returning home after appearing before a court in Zia Charitable Trust graft case at around 3:15pm.

As Khaleda’s motorcade cross the area,police chased the activists and they threw back stones.
