Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology has bagged the first prize of Battle of Minds-2017, organised by British American Tobacco Bangladesh, on Wednesday.
Bangladesh Awami League joint secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, MP, was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony while Nasrul Hamid, MP, state minister for power, energy and mineral resources, was the chief guest at the prize-giving ceremony respectively, said an official release on Thursday.
Shehzad Munim, managing director, BATB said, ‘Battle of Minds is a platform that enables young graduates to widen their horizon in learning and getting into the professional life with confidence.
More than 2,300 students from 40 different universities across the country took part in the competition through online applications.
Furthermore, 24 best candidates from North South University, Institute of Business Administration, Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Military Institute of Science and Technology and Bangladesh University of Professionals were selected as finalists for the gala event.
