Two films including an Indian to hit cinemas today

Debashish Biswas’ Chal Palai and Tollywood film Cockpit will hit the local cinemas across the country today.

Biswas’ Chal Palai is a romantic thriller starring Shah Riaz, Shipon, Toma Mirza, Shimul Khan, Sadeque Bachchu and others.

‘Chal Palai is a comparatively low-budget film with a romantic-adventure plot. I hope the viewers will enjoy the film’, said Debashish Biswas.

Chal Palai will be released in approximately 70 cinemas.

Cockpit will be released in the country under the SAFTA agreement which allows import of Indian films in exchange of export of the same number of local movies to India. Jazz Multimedia has imported the film and exported its own production Dhateriki to India.

Directed by Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Cockpit features a true story of an airline pilot. The story revolves around a flight, which gets hit from bad turbulent weather. The film shows hows the pilot attempts to land the plane, even with damaged engines.

Cockpit stars Dev, Koel Mallick, Rukmini Maitra and Bangladeshi actor Roshan in the lead roles.

The film will be released in approximately 100 cinemas.
